Toilets
Toilets can be frustrating to deal with. There are so many different parts that can break or come loose, not to mention that it is the most commonly used item in your home. The flapper can become loose, for example. If you have a first generation flush toilet, it could just be a matter of time. If you take a look at the clay-stamped manufacturing date on the inside of your toilet’s tank, you may see a time period anywhere from 1994 to 1997. If you do, it’s only a matter of time until your flapper handles start to fail.

Now, you may also be experiencing a partial flush problem, where the water in the bowl will go down, and immediately some of the water comes back up, leaving you to flush it again and again. Nobody wants to stay in the bathroom that long – we just want to get our business done and get out.

Of course, then there are the always present problems such as the water in the bowl rising or lowering too much, the toilet ‘running’ or ‘whistling’ after it has been flushed, or even needing to jiggle the handle to make sure it flushes properly. Bathtub Repair and Installation
When it comes to bathtubs, you always think about how to clean it, how to keep it aesthetically appealing, and how to keep it comfortable. Not much thought goes into the plumbing underneath your tub. At least, not until you start experiencing water backflow problems and unexplained clogging. These issues can be caused by a variety of things from unseen hair clogs further down the drain system to even a weak drain. Your tub may need re-piping or simple unclogging. Perhaps you’re experiencing low water pressure or the water stream is uneven. This is often caused by a faucet that has its inner workings torn or loose. In most cases, your troubles can be fixed with a simple installation of a new faucet. Installing a new faucet onto your sink or showerhead is an inevitable task. At some point, faucets weaken and loosen with use and need to be replaced. There’s no real solution to it other than having a plumber install a new one. Hot Water Tanks and Garbage Disposals
Whether you’re installing brand new or replacing an old one, the installation of tankless water heaters, or storage tank water heaters can be a daunting task that not many people handle today, at least, not for an inexpensive price. At Certified Plumbing we can handle the installation of either, and it won’t cost you an arm and a leg. It’s not common that water heaters require maintenance. When they begin to malfunction, they’re often better off being replaced. Repairs can be just as costly as a brand new water heater, and only last for a few weeks, if you’re lucky.
