With further investigation you find the problem isn’t the plumbing itself but each individual fixture in the house and you wonder what to do since you just spend a lot of money on the house and you don’t want to pay for all this to be replaced. With these tips I can show you what to do when your fixtures all mess up and need to be replaced ASAP and show you how you can find the perfect fixtures for each situation.
Plumbing Fixtures
Toilet: One of the many things that instantly comes to our mind when thinking of plumbing of any kind. Now to find a fixture for this is basically figuring out which model is your toilet, there are two basic kinds, the two pieces or the one piece. The two piece is a little more complicated because you have more to deal with when replacing it as it comes with commode but the tanks are separate in its installation. When finding the suitable replacement, be sure to purchase the wax rings that seal the drain of the toilet to the floor because without it the waste will spill out onto the floor and not the sewers like it should.
Bathtub: for this you need to work with what is already there so that makes this one a little easier than the others on this list but this means if you buy a two knob set but you started with one then some parts of the plumbing will need to be changed for this to work.
Kitchen: This is one category but has many to deal with making this the most difficult on the list. For your kitchen faucet there are many types and for most kitchens a simple change of faucet won’t affect it so that is a little easier but if you choose to change out the whole sink be sure to check if your new sink will work with the plumbing underneath because if not you will need to change that out as well. If you also choose to change out the dishwasher or garbage disposal then please talk to a representative of home improvements to discuss your choices and decisions and figure out what is needed to move forward.
This tip is the same as the kitchen’s sink. New faucet make sure it fits with the set up you already have, some large basin will hold more water than others but if you are thinking of getting this then make sure you switch out the plumbing under the sink.
